This summer, Erin MacKenzie will be attending the 2009 Dance Intensive program
at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. She will be spending 2 1/2 weeks in Winnipeg this August. Have fun Erin!
The Royal Winnipeg Ballet held auditions for parts in their 2008 performance of The Nutcracker
at the NAC. Sydney Anderson was accepted to participate and plays the part of an angel. We are
very proud of you Sydney. Congratulations!
Summer 2008
 Kali Easton attended the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Summer School. During that time, she was invited
to participate in the full time program at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. Congratulations Kali!
November 2007
The Royal Winnipeg Ballet held auditions for several different parts in their performance of
the Nutcracker at the NAC. Taylor Duncan, Ariana Faulkner and Erin
MacKenzie were accepted from the many girls who came out to fill 19 parts in this years Nutcracker. The
girls started rehearsals for the show on Sunday December 2 through to December 5 with their opening show that evening.
They performed 5 evening shows and 2 matinees. For many girls this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and an
experience that these dancers will never forget. Check out the gallery

October 2007
Footworks Dance Academy student, Kali Easton auditioned for the Royal Winnipeg
Ballet Summer School Program and was accepted. She will be spending the month of July in Winnipeg at the ballet
school taking classes on a daily basis from their elite instructors. This summer school program serves as an
intensive auditioning period for the schools professional full time program.
The Directors of Footworks Dance Academy Brittany Black and Karen LeSage would like to
